Hurrah for all things BIG on the Sunshine Coast

If you know about wotif.com’s “Big” Competition, entrants had to take a funny photo of themselves with something “big”. Anyway, the person who won got to travel around Australia viewing all the “big” things, and rating them. The results can be seen here. I must say that QLD, and the Sunshine Coast have come out particularly well!!!
Big Pineapple (Nambour) – 3rd place in Top 10 Big Aussie Icons
Big Pelican (Noosa) – 1st place in Top 10 Destinations with a Big Aussie icon.
Guess the guys can really say that the live in the place where all things big are rated highly! (wink wink)
Exam Round 2
So I don’t care this time. It’s open book – who’s stressed about that?
When I enter the room (after getting a coffee from Zarrafas, as is the custom)I was informed we were going to the library to do some research on some Acts:
Police Powers and Responsibilites Act
Criminal Code Act
Family something-or-other Act
All with regards to domestic violence. Did I mention that I have to do a totally awesome 3000 word report on domestic violence, the support groups, and the police force’s involvement? I should have some awesome stats and reviews for you all in the coming weeks.
But when were we going to do our exam?!
Buuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrppppppp
Have discovered a page dedicated to playing people’s burps that they have recorded and submitted to this page. Check it out, it’s called realbeer.com
Devastated
I recently found my CD “Saturday Morning Cartoons“. It’s a CD that I was given when younger, possibly one on my first ever CDs I owned (rather than stole from my sisters).
When I found the album, it made my day – especially since some of the songs have been running through my head lately.
But alas – when it gets to Track 17, the CD is no more!! My favourite songs of the CD have been destroyed, left to be just a bunch of scratches.
I’m devastated. I’m going to have to buy a new copy of the CD.
