New Years Resolutions for 2007

resolutions.jpgLast year I made a set of ten resolutions to be completed, and got 100% done. This year I intend on doing the exact same thing, and after a lot of nagging, Amy has done it as well. So now I’m issuing a challenge to all my other mates to write a list and throughout the year we’ll constantly revisit it to see what you’ve accomplished.

My list for this year:

  • 1. Give up chocolate for 1 month.
  • 2. Go to Adelaide
  • 3. Re-enroll in TAFE.
  • 4. Lose 3kg
  • 5. Make a different meal with my George Foreman Roaster at least once per month.
  • 6. Get rid of one credit card.
  • 7. Get a spray tan
  • 8. Go on the Vomitron (a ride on the Gold Coast that Fatty and Chief from the Footy Show went on, and were famously crook).
  • 9. Go camping with Amy and Pauline
  • 10. Clean out our dresser drawers and throw out all clothes that I haven’t worn in ages, or have holes etc etc (this SERIOUSLY needs to be done and I’ve procrastinated enough).
  • **update**

  • 11. Go visit the dentist. I have a tooth at the front of my mouth that I’m pretty sure is growing in a weird direction and it sticks out, its starting to bother me now. And I hate the dentist, so this will be tough one.
  • 12. Walk in the relay for life. My mum had breast cancer so I would really like to do this to support her; she’s a tough woman and come through for the better. And I’ve also told her I’d do it for the last 3 years *grin*
  • This is HEAPS easier than last years as there are a higher number of recreational activities, but after going through a Pap Smear last year I think I deserve an easy one.

    Happy New Years everyone!

New blog for the new year

If you look at my blog, you will no doubt notice that there is a new look. Why? Because I can! Justified Musings wasn’t a suitable title anymore since I never speak about my TAFE studies (although there will be more to come on that in the new year), and I had to try and get across the true me.

And everyone is probably aware of the “mummy I’m a tryhard joke”.

Thus, enter the new blog appearance. Let me know what you think of it, I hope you like it. I did it all the other night and then finally went “oh stuff it that will do” so if there is an improvement you can think of, tell me!

    Jackson Pollock moment

jacksonpollockattempt.JPGSo, you feeling pretty pissed off, extremely emotional, and just want to get it all out in a Jackson Pollack style painting but don’t have the equipment? Well, the internet is your friend, my friend.

Visit JacksonPollock.org and you too can be creating a work of art in minutes. Also a great past time if you’re extremely bored and on holidays like me *grin*

To paint, simply click and move your mouse around the window. To change the colour, click your left mouse button again and keep moving. Easy peasy!

    Completion of New Years Resolutions

resolute.gifBack in February this year I wrote about the resolutions I had written for myself at the start of the new year. A fortnight ago, I managed to complete the last resolution on the list.

Warning – I did kinda “swap” things because I did something that I considered equal to the list. If you want to be picky then you can say that I didn’t complete my list, but I’m still pretty damn happy with what I did.
