I tried to be a bit soft in my photo (hence the frangipani) but since I hate being in front of the camera so much, the emotion really came across in my face. What a grump!

I was challenged to take a portrait by a friend (also a photographer), since he knows it’s my least favourite style. Unfortunately, no one else would pose for me in front of the camera (no one that I could really get a hold of for today’s picture anyway), so self portrait it was! I think it’s fair to say that I have really stretched myself as a photographer today, regardless of the outcome, purely because I had to accept myself as a subject, and work with a “model” (however unwilling she may be).
