Photo of the day
Today I went and donated plasma at the Maroochydore Blood Donation Centre. It was my first time, so I thought it would be a great opportunity for a photo of the day.
You can see a tube with my blood on the left hand side of the centrifuge, and a bag filled with the plasma on the right. It kinda looks like beer or urine; bright yellow with froth on top. Yep, I know that’s what you all wanted to hear *grin*
I took this picture in a hurry, cause there were two people waiting patiently for me to take the shot before they could dismantle the machine. As such, I took the pic with an aperture of 3.5 focused on the bag (since all I had in mind was to make sure the picture wasn’t blurry). So while the bag of plasma looks in focus, the centrifuge looks blurry – oops. Lesson for next time – not quite such a large aperture.
