I can’t say I’m a big fan of this photo, but the 365 project is meant to encourage the learning process, isn’t it? I suppose I’m fulfilling the task in that regard.
I tried experimenting tonight with our Christmas tree lights (yep – had to pull them out again!) to try and get a bokeh effect. I’ll have to research this technique a bit more, since everything I tried on the camera had everything coming out looking a bit…well….not nice. Photoshop probably could have corrected some issues, but I’d prefer to get it right at the camera level if I can.
I’ll have to revisit this technique more during the year until I become a lot more comfortable with it. Here I was thinking it was easy.
Oh, and don’t ask me why our Christmas lights come out looking like spaceships. I couldn’t tell you.
