Went to the shooting range with Mat today, so fired off a few shots of my own – of the camera anyway. I took a shot at a target, but unfortunately it was all set up for a right hander, and I’m a left hander. I was trying to hold my left eye shut so I could see through the scope (I can’t wink with that eye) and take a shot. I was only about 1cm off the bullseye in the end, not bad for only having one hand on the gun!

What a day! The rain POURED for most of the day, so pretty much all festival goers had mud on them in some form or another. There were lots of mud wrestling, and general splashing. I tried to avoid it as much as I could, but still ended with mud all up my shins & calves, and my white shoes are now brown.

Best act of the day for me went to Franz Ferdinand, though Prodigy certainly were rocking the stage. It was only let down for me in that I’m not really into their music, but for performers they were unreal! Empire of the Sun were my worst of the day, they were SO boring.

This photo was taken super late at night on the way home from a friend’s place, in the car. The iphone takes some amazing photos sometimes!

Happy birthday Jo! She threw down the challenge that I had to take a photo today that had her in it. The only problem is that she’s on the other side of the country! Thus, with a photo of her on my iphone I thought I would take a moody photo of a chair, an iphone, a banana (purely in the photo to hold up the iphone) and my waterbottle (cause I’d left it on the chair and couldn’t be bothered going and getting it).

One of the groups I’m in on Flickr has a scavenger hunt going on at the moment. Basically we have a list of items that we need to take photos of, including cosmetics. Hence my entry for the cosmetics section was a photo of the mascara given to me at Christma by the lovely Paige & Ange.
