87/365 - The eyes of a very tired woman

The eyes of a very very tired woman. I fell asleep on the couch and woke up a bit later, to drag myself around like a zombie getting ready for bed. I realised I didn’t have a photo of the day yet, so I thought nothing more true to the day than a shot of my very very tired eyes.

The longer I look at this photo the more it makes me feel like I’m looking at a one eyed Alien!

86/365 - Fire at Nandos

Tonight we were meant to eat at Nandos for dinner to celebrate a friend’s birthday, but the deep fryer caught on fire and we were evacuated! Thankfully, Pizza Capers and Chilli Charlie’s down the road allowed us to put together their tables so all 25 of us could be seated, and we chose from either store to eat. Quite an interesting spin to the evening!

85/365 - German sausage stall at the markets

Today I went into Mat’s work in Nambour to pick him up, but unfortunately he wasn’t going to be ready for about an hour. I decided I’d head into town to pick up some groceries, and discovered they were actually having moonlight markets!

There was some amazing food there – churros, wood fired pizzas, german sausages etc. Unfortunately since I’m dieting I held back from getting anything, although waiting for Mat I eventually sucuumbed and bought 3 small vegetable spring rolls since I was starving! As soon as I’ve reached my goal weight, I’m going to go and enjoy market food!
