I’ve been a uni student for approximately 3 weeks now. Well, I was a student before that as my enrolment was confirmed but the term only started 3 weeks ago. Since then I’ve discovered that environmentalists would hate me.

For example, right now I have in front of me an A4 pad that I’ve been using to take notes in during lectures. I also have pages that I have ripped out from my notebook so that I can re-write them and restructure them better for ease of understanding. I also have a folder full of information that I’ve printed out – extracts from science journals etc. Upon these printouts I’ve highlighted text and made notes.

I also own a netbook, which is perfectly capable in creating word processing documents. I could totally use this to take notes in, and reference journals that I read online. But I don’t want to.

Fact of the matter is that I love writing on paper. I love writing in notepads. I love ripping pages and starting all over again.
