How I spent my Sunday

Pardon me for the lack of posts, but with a laptop that can tether with my iPhone intermittently at best, I haven’t written in a while. I know I have WordPress on my phone (from which I am posting now) but for posts with length and quality, the extensive typing on my phone can be a bit of a turnoff.

So how did I spend my Sunday?

  • Doing two loads of washing
  • Spending no less than 3 hours in the sun (sunscreen on of course, and reapplied regularly) pulling out every weed in sight
  • Coffee with my mum on the back deck of my new place
  • Baking a cake – yet to be taste tested so can’t confirm if it was a success yet
  • Going for a bike ride with C and a friend so that we could experience a view like this:
  • Sunset at Mooloolaba beach

Right now I’m relaxing on the deck with a glass of wine while inside C makes some pork chops for dinner.

After a few months of stress, days like this just remind me how lucky I am.

    I’m living the dream.

    7th Jan – 70′s party

    Day 7

Tonight I attended a 70′s party with Huggy Bear (starsky & hutch reference). It was great fun, and I actually really liked the dress I was wearing. It was SO comfortable! I’ve changed, I used to be cool.

6th Jan – dramatic view from the deck

    Day 6

Where I now live with C and some friends, we have an amazingly large back deck that hangs over a canal. It is by far my most favourite thing of this house, and every day there is something new and exciting to witness there. On this particular night, the lights from the nearby stadium combined with the cloud cover made for a mysterious and gloomy looking night.

5th Jan – The kindle obsession begins

    Day 5

Since receiving a kindle for Christmas I’ve rediscovered my passion for reading. I’m currently enjoying a Stephen King novel, which I’ll be sure to blog all about when I’m finished.

    4th Jan – Three tongues

    Day 4

These dogs are seriously all tongue.
