Very much a woman of routine

I have discovered that I’m very much a woman of routine. Over the past month or so I’ve barely blogged at all. Maybe once. Not good.

The reason is because my entire routine got out of whack. I wasn’t going for runs in the morning, and I wasn’t studying at night. Uni was on a break so I relished the nights I had away from the computer. Since I had gotten into a pattern where I would blog before studying, blogging got ignored as well. Basically, I would come home from work, cook dinner, and spend the night chilling out on the couch with Mat. Definitely not a bad thing.

But now uni is back in full force, and I need to get cracking. More hours in front of the computer, whether participating in online discussion forums (to prove my involvement level) or watching study guides. My “study breaks” will go back to being blog posts, or the odd stand and stretch. And I will get back into running in the mornings, I love it.

I say all of this, and yet I’m out of routine right now. I’m writing this blog in the morning. Purely it’s because yet again, I didn’t go for a run this morning. Instead, I got up and ate breakfast, read some news and now I’m about to prepare dinner and put it in the slow cooker.

Maybe I need to work on my routine a little more.
