I daresay my mood today is due to being extremely tired, though it’s possible that a couple of key events have made me a bit more cranky. The reason for the fatigue is that last night I attended the U2 concert in Brisbane, which was AWESOME!!!!! Sadly, my excitement and happiness hasn’t carried over through to today.

I ordered a camera, and from the information given on the Fedex site they indicated that it would be delivered today. Alas, it was not to be. The website said that on the 7th December the information had been passed to Fedex, with expected delivery date today. However, there had been no update on it to show that it was  in-transit, or that it had even been picked up. Since I was extremely excited and impatient, I rang them to see if there was a chance the info on the site was wrong, and if the expected date was still today. Nope, no luck. They confirmed that my camera hadn’t even been picked up from Hong Kong yet. To say I was devastated would be an understatement, and I’m pretty sure it only happened as a way to teach me a lesson for getting my hopes up. As of writing this post there’s still no change to the website, so I’m pretty positive that I won’t be getting my camera this week.

Then later this afternoon I received an email to say that the present I had purchased for my mum on the internet a fortnight ago wasn’t going to be fulfilled and they would be refunding my money. Great. So now I shall just add that to another present I have to buy, and battle against the evil christmas shopping crowd to find.

Clearly, it just wasn’t to be my day with deliveries. It’s times like this I hate it that I use sweet food to cheer me up. Damn diets.

I’ve just received confirmation they’ve FINALLY picked up the camera. New estimated date of arrival is Monday. WOOHOO.
