Just call me student Kelsbells

I’m so, SO proud to say I’m now a uni student. I’m enrolled at Central Queensland University as an external student, studying a Bachelor of Science (Industrial Chemistry).

A few weeks I was tossing it up, and in fact wrote a blog post about whether I wanted to do it or not. It took a verbal kick up the ass from a friend of mine before I realised there was no reason to wonder about doing it, and that I should just bite the bullet. So I did, I was accepted, and I’ve just selected my first course for the semester.

I have documented and spoken to my friends frequently about my desire to join the police service. My long term career ambition is to be a forensic scientist. I had almost ruled out aiming for a uni degree and working in a laboratory full time, instead choosing to aim for the police service where I could be involved of scenes of crime. Every day would be different, every crime scene would unique, and I could never get bored. Right?

Then I busted my knee.
