Last night I saw Missy Higgins perform at the Gold Coast Convention Centre. It was an “intimate theatre experience” as noted by her website, and most definately was one of the best concerts I have been to.
Now I hate to say that it wasn’t all about her music. As you may or may not know, Missy recently “sort of” came out about whether or not she is a lesbian. That really doesn’t bother me, as long as she’s happy then that all that matters. What bothers me is when people make such a big deal out of it. It proved to be a recurring theme of the night, most unfairly to Missy since that wasn’t the point of the evening.
