I’m running on about 4 hours sleep, just over half of what I normally need to function. Today is going to be a long day.

I went and saw Super 8 last night, I can’t say I’m too much of a fan. If you haven’t heard of it, here’s the trailer:

Whoever made the trailer did a great job – it definitely caught my interest, and made me excited to see the movie; it’s just a shame that I walked out of there thinking it could have been better.

I suppose there would be a lot of people out there who would think the movie is brilliant, and it definitely has its moments. There’s just some parts of it that were a little bit of a let down for me, and didn’t feel quite believeable. Spielberg is still a master of creating those uber-tense moments, and we definitely jumped in our seats a couple of times (I love that feeling).

Then again, I’m not exactly a professional movie critic, so feel free to ignore me If you’ve seen it, what did you think?
