The byephone challenge – Day 5
Today was scary. I thought it would be a relatively easy day, but now I’m fearing the worst. I have nothing to report! I didn’t miss my phone today! Have I slowly begun my decent into forgetting just how amazing the iPhone is? At least I can look forward to rediscovering its greatness when I’m honoured with it’s ownership in 48 hours.
Mat has still not charged the phone yet, and the power bar is now on half. That’s insane. If he hasn’t charged it by the end of this challenge I will be absolutely speechless. He has a god phone in his hands, and he chooses not to unleash it’s power. As Derryn Hinch would say, shame shame shame.
I’m on the home stretch now, not long to go.

I can’t believe you are not touching it at all, impressed. He must have barely touched the thing, I run out of battery in a day? Is the point for him to say his phone is better or for you not to have it for a set time? If it was him to say his phone is better than the iPhone, or to prove the iPhone isn’t great, him not having used the iPhone much so means that he has sooo not proven his point

Nah, the original challenge started when I told him he couldn’t last a week without poker of some sort (whether watching it on tv, playing it in real life or on the computer. Thus I challenged him to go a week without it. In return, he challenged me to go without my iPhone as he was insistent I would crack.
Despite nagging him several times he refused to commit to a start date so he was eventually declared the loser. I was intrigued to know whether I could actually last, so my friend stepped in as the official “challenger” and will award me a mystery prize if I last the week. Most importantly I will be able to say that I could do it.
Now if only I could extend that willpower to being able to lose weight!
