The wood that we waited 4 weeks for from Gympie for the deck has finally arrived today which is hell exciting. Although the timber just looks like a pile of wood at the moment (geddit?) it will soon morph into a beautiful extension that will complement the backyard and house. In my mind I’m already living out the back with the cool breezes and city view but unfortunately there will still be another 3 weeks of hard work for the carpenter. I’ve bought an 8 seat table set from Early Settler and some christmas lights to decorate it as a bit of pre planning never goes astray. Can’t wait!
