Today is the one year anniversary of my trip to California and Nevada. The trip was mainly the reason I started this blog so that I could keep friends and family updated. This idea failed miserably as I didn’t account for a power spike that would make the server look like it was on when it was in fact off. I guess there is a reason why paid hosting is better. If you want to reminisce with me, you can start at the post “We’re heeere“.
Looking back now the trip is a turning point for me as a person. If my appetite to travel was whetted before, this trip made me drunk. I didn’t expect to like America as much as I did or find it so beautiful. I was blown away by it’s excessiveness. I had a horrible hangover when we got home and probably spent two months adjusting to not being there. For something that was only 20 days out of my life it has made a huge impact.
I now understand why so many songs are written about California.
Wow, you’re getting pretty soppy in this blog SISTAH!
Can’t you just feel the hormones raging from there? 🙂
u know a blog is breathing its dying breaths when u start recalling the early days. is this the last we may see of amy.is-a-geek.net? kelly why dont u get an actual address for your blog instead of jst relying on ur sisters dying blog??
Shhhhh – because the web hosting service there is SO good (cough) and because technical support is on hand at any given time (provided she answers her home phone & e-mails) and because it doesn’t cost a cent.
Nah, because I don’t really reckon anyone reads mine! Why pay for nothing?
i am proud to admit that i have read your blog…if only once or twice 😛 but come on now, do you really have to do those weird who am i things? but don’t take that the wrong way, i like those don’t take them off, dont think ytour blog is a complete and utter failure and head of to the bathroom to slash up now, where would we get all the joyous moments from kelly then?
